Day 1: Halifax, NS - Grand Falls, NB

Begin your unforgettable holiday across Canada. Progress has changed the face of our cities, but the countryside remains much the same as when the westward explorers discovered it. Visit the Covered Bridge Potato Chip factory in Hartland before arrivng in Grand Falls for the evening.

Day 2: Grand Falls, NB - Drummondville, QC

Make your way into Quebec today. From Riviere du Loup, follow the mighty St. Lawrence River. Today visit the Woodcarver's Museum where a storyteller will entertain you with animated local folk legends depicted in a 22 foot long carved mural. Overnight this evening in Drummondville. (CB)

Day 3: Drummondville, QC - North Bay, ON

An early start brings you through the bustling city of Montreal. Enter Ontario and join the Ottawa River, following it past Ottawa and the Canadian Forces Base Petawawa. Continue motoring through the beautiful Ottawa Valley to North Bay. (CB)

Day 4: North Bay, ON - Sault Ste. Marie, ON

The first stop today is in the nickel mining town of Sudbury, at Science North. This internationally renowned science centre offering hands on exhibits encouraging visitors to interact and explore. This afternoon your route is along Lake Huron. Arrive in Sault Ste. Marie for the night. (CB)

Day 5: Sault Ste. Marie, ON - Marquette, MI

This morning we cross the border into the USA and enjoy a Boat Ride through the "Soo Locks", highlighting the Saint Mary's River Rapids. Spend tonight in Marquette, Michigan on the shores of Lake Superior. (CB)

Day 6: Michigan to Bemidji, MN

Continue westward to Wisconsin, then past Duluth, Minnesota at the western tip of Lake Superior. Spend the night in Bemidji, Minnesota. (B)

Day 7: Bemidji, MN - Winnipeg, MB

Pass through Grand Forks, North Dakota and head north to enter Manitoba and arrive in Winnipeg where you will spend the next two nights. (CB)

Day 8: Winnipeg, MB

This morning enjoy a guided city tour of Winnipeg. This afternoon you can stroll through beautiful Bonnycastle Park on the banks of the Assiniboine River, visit any number of historic sites, see the collection of Inuit Art at the Winnipeg Art Gallery, browse the shops of Portage Avenue, or relax at your hotel... the choice is yours! Day 9: Winnipeg, MB - Swift Current, SK

Depart Winnipeg and ride through sections of cultivated land, resembling a patchwork quilt of greens, golds and brown, past Regina where you will overnight in Swift Current. (B)

Day 10: Swift Current, SK - Calgary, AB

Make your way westward through Canada's "Bread Basket". Recapture the spirit of the Old West at towns rich in Indian lore. The wilderness once roamed by bison has gradually made way for the railroad, wheat fields, oil wells, and a modern super highway which leads to Calgary. Enjoy a brief tour of Calgary before arriving at your hotel for the evening. (CB)

Day 11: Calgary, AB - Banff, AB

A short drive leads to the Rocky Mountains and Banff National Park. A trip to the Columbia Icefields provides the opportunity for a Sno-Coach trip up the face of the Athabasca Glacier (weather permitting). The next two nights are spent in the beautiful mountain resort town of Banff. (B)

Day 12: Banff, AB

Enjoy a day at leisure in Banff. (B)

Day 13: Banff, AB - Revelstoke, BC

The highway threads the silent mountains through some of the most spectacular scenery in North America. Twist up Kicking Horse Pass to traverse the Great Divide and share the beauty of Yoho National Park en route to the summit of Rogers Pass. Descend Glacier National Park, skirt the boundary of Revelstoke National Park and spend the night in Revelstoke. (B)

Day 14: Revelstoke, BC - Victoria, BC

Today's route brings you through Salmon Arm then directly to Tsawassen to ferry across the Strait of Georgia to Vancouver Island. Spend the next two nights in Victoria. (CB)

Day 15: Victoria, BC

Victoria: the Emerald of the West and Sunshine Garden City is a regal capital with a British accent and Olde England charm. Your tour of Victoria includes the Tudor style buildings, parks, flower lined streets, and many other points of interest. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure to browse the many quality boutique or sightsee at your own pace. Later visit Butchart Gardens in the early evening offering a magnificent array of flowers, trees and much more. (CB).

Day 16: Victoria, BC - Vancouver, BC

This morning you will motor north along the peaceful green coast of Vancouver Island to the lumber capital of Nanaimo. Here, you will board the ferry for a return cruise to the mainland. From Horseshoe Bay, travel via West Vancouver to cross the famous Lions Gate Bridge to arrive in the sparkling Pacific port of Vancouver for two nights. On arrival in Vancouver, a city tour will acquaint you with the best of the city. (CB)

Day 17: Vancouver, BC

Today is a complete day of leisure for you to explore restored Gastown, Chinatown, Stanley Park, shop or simply relax... the choice is all yours. (B)

Day 18: Vancouver, BC - Kamloops, BC

Follow the Simon Fraser route to Hope, then turn northward through the Fraser River Canyon with its breathtaking views of the rapids and sheer rock cliffs. Visit Hell's Gate, Boston Bar, and Cache Creek. Overnight in Kamloops. (B)

Day 19: Kamloops, BC - Jasper, AB

Motor through the Caribou Mountain Range to follow the Thompson River Valley. Your scenic delight today is the Yellowhead Highway, one of the most picturesque in North America. Pass Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Rockies, on route to Jasper for the night. Jasper had few visitors until 1911 when the Grand Trunk Railway arrived. Enjoy the peaceful beauty of the town and surrounding mountains which provide a never-to-be-forgotten holiday experience. (CB)

Day 20: Jasper, AB - Edmonton, AB

You are off to Alberta's capital of Edmonton. Visit the spectacular West Edmonton Mall before settling in for the night. (B)

Day 21: Edmonton, AB - Regina, SK

You continue your tour through the Prairies and rolling hills of Alberta on your way to the capital city of Regina in Saskatchewan, for overnight. (B)

Day 22: Regina, SK - Winnipeg, MB

Tour Regina this morning, then return to Winnipeg and overnight. (CB)

Day 23: Winnipeg, MB - Thunder Bay, ON

Enter Ontario to journey through the northern woodlands past the island peppered Lake of the Woods to Thunder Bay for the next two nights. (B)

Day 24: Thunder Bay, ON

Today tour the workshop and gift centre at a working amethyst mine before visiting Old Fort William. Step back in time to experience life as it was during the days of the fur trade. Guides in period costume play the trades of a bygone era in this vibrant historical community. (B)

Day 25: Thunder Bay, ON - Sault Ste. Marie, ON

Travel along the sparkling Lake Superior shores today. This drive is noted for panoramic views of the big lake, the tall pine forest, and rugged cliffs. Arrive in Sault Ste. Marie for the night. (B)

Day 26: Sault Ste. Marie, ON - Ottawa, ON

Retrace your steps along the shores of Lake Huron. Arrive in Ottawa, for a two night stay in the heart of the nation's capital. (CB)

Day 27: Ottawa, ON

Enjoy a locally guided tour of Ottawa this morning, highlights include the Parliament Buildings, Embassy Row, the Rideau Canal, and much more. The rest of the day is free to explore our capital on your own. (B)

Day 28: Ottawa, ON - Quebec City, QC

Make your way to Montreal where you will enjoy a city tour en route to Quebec City. Upon arrival in Quebec City, meet your local tour guide for a city tour of Old Quebec before checking into your hotel for the night. (B)

Day 29: Quebec City, QC - Edmundston, NB

Enjoy a free morning in Quebec City before travelling to New Brunswick where you will overnight in Edmundston. (B)

Day 30: Edmundston, NB - Halifax, NS

Payment

A non-refundable $200 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Terms

In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:

- Between 45 and 31 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price will be retained.

- Between 30 days to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.

Cancellation Insurance is available and strongly recommended.

Itinerary Variations

If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries/accommodations and substitute the best alternative available.
