Day 1: Fly to Dublin
Depart on your overnight flight for Dublin, Ireland. While flights are not included in this tour package, we are happy to make these arrangements for you. Your flight should arrive in Dublin no later than 9:00 am tomorrow morning.

Day 2: Welcome to Ireland
After arriving at the Dublin Airport, we drive through Dublin and arrive at The Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery. Have a tour and enjoy a pint with a magnificent view of this 1000+ year old city. We check into our hotel and have time to rest. Before our included dinner, we enjoy a welcome drink with our tour director. (D)

Day 3: Dublin Touring
After breakfast we enjoy a panoramic drive around the major sites. We visit Trinity College where we see the incredible Book of Kells. This is one of Ireland's dearest treasures. We visit St Patrick's Cathedral. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore on our own. This evening we enjoy a Traditional Irish dinner with entertainment at Nancy Hands, a lovely old Dublin Pub. Day 4: Dublin to Waterford
We travel through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and visit Glendalough, the ruins of a beautiful 6th Century monastery. After lunch on our own, we continue the journey to Waterford and enjoy an after hours private tour of the beautiful Medieval Museum. See the charter of Ireland's oldest city, which was laid out in 1377, see Edward the IV's sword and the only piece of Henry the VIII's clothing to survive. See the greatest treasure in the museum, the largest collection of church vestments to survive in Northern Europe. Embroidered with Italian silk thread of gold and silver in Bruge in the 15th century, the depict the Gospel and the Virgin Mary. Visit the Choristers Hall, built in 1270 under the city as part of the Bishops residence and the Mayors Wine Vault where you will enjoy a wine reception. Dinner is included at your hotel this evening. (B,D)

Day 5: Waterford to Killarney
This morning we tour the Midleton Distillery and enjoy a tasting before traveling on to Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping and the Blarney Castle for a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone. We continue on to Killarney where we stay 3 nights. (B,D)

Day 6: Ring of Kerry
After a full Irish breakfast we travel out around the Ring of Kerry. The roads are narrow and the views so spectacular the journey will be a memorable one. We enjoy many photo stops along the way. We visit the Kissane Sheep Farm where we see how the well trained dogs bring the sheep down from the mountain. We return to Killarney. After our included dinner we can stroll the quaint streets of Killarney or perhaps enjoy some traditional music at a pub. (B,D)

Day 7: Killarney National Park & Dingle Peninsula
This morning, we meet our Jarvey for a horse and jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park. Then we board our motorcoach for our journey out onto the Dingle Peninsula. We explore the incredible beauty of the Dingle and return to Killarney later this afternoon The rest of the day is free to explore Killarney on our own. (B)

Day 8: Adare & Bunratty Folk Park
We depart and travel to the picture postcard village of Adare, which is one of Ireland's special places, with thatched roof cottages and Tudor style houses, beautiful gardens and ivy clad medieval churches in beautiful surroundings on both sides of the street beside the river Maigue. We visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. This 11th-century castle has been restored to its former medieval glory. In the surrounding area is a folk park where we can see people working as they would have in the 1800's. We enjoy a Medieval banquet and entertainment this evening. (B, D)

Day 9: Cliffs of Moher and Galway
Today we travel to the Burren of County Clare and visit the Cliffs of Moher.  Standing 702 feet at their highest point, the stretch for 5 miles along the Atlantic Coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland. From the Cliffs of Moher on a clear day one can see teh Aran Islands and Galway Bay, as well as the Twelve Pins and the Maum Turk mountains in Connemara, Loop Head to the south, and the Dingle Peninsula and Blasket Islands in Kerry. We then travel around Galway Bay to Galway City where we enjoy a city tour and time to explore. We return to our hotel and enjoy dinner. (B, D)

Day 10: King John's Castle
Today we drive into Limerick for a visit of King John's Castle. The castle was built between 1200 and 1210. It was repaired and extended many times over the following centuries. King John's Castle remains a most impressive Anglo Norman fortification. It retains many of the pioneering features which made its construction unique for its day. Its massive gatehouse, battlements and corner towers await exploration! Features include a 13th Century Anglo - Norman Castle with panoramic views of Limerick City, the River Shannon and surrounding countryside. The visitor centre contains an imaginative historical exhibition, which recounts the history of the castle in dramatic fashion. A special treat awaits us as we overnight at Barbarstown Castle. Built in the 13th Century, it is a 4 Star Castle hotel. All the bedrooms are elegantly and luxuriously appointed, laden with antique furniture. (B,D)

Day 11: Depart Dublin
Your transfer is included today to the Dublin Airport for your flight home. You should schedule your flight no earlier than 11:00 am. (B)
