We will stop in the scenic Smokey Mountain area for a tour of the national park and all the excitement of Dollywood. In Nashville and Branson we will explore the birthplace of country music and enjoy performance's by the area's stars. On our way back to the Maritimes we will visit Amish Country for a memorable look into the Amish people's unique way of life.

Day 1: Maritimes to Auburn, MA

We will be travelling through New Brunswick, Maine and New Hampshire with rest-stops and lunch along the way. Your tour director will make the time pass with games and entertainment. Arrive at your host hotel in Auburn, MA.  There are restaurants and shops nearby if you would like to do some exploring.

Day 2: Auburn, MA to Harrisonburg, VA

We will be travelling through Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York with rest-stops and lunch along the way.  Enjoy the scenery as we travel. Arrive at your host hotel in Harrisonburg, VA.  Have dinner at one of the local restaurants and relax in the hotel. (CB)

Day 3: Harrisonburg, VA to Pigeon Forge, TN

We will be travelling through Virginia and along the beautiful Jefferson and Cherokee National Forests.  We will have rest-stops along the way and arrive at our host hotel in Pigeon Forge, TN mid-afternoon. After freshening up at the hotel we will visit Dollywood. Featuring traditional crafts and music of the Smoky Mountains area, Dollywood will keep us busy all evening. Choose one of the many dining options available and enjoy the park. (CB)

Day 4: Local Touring

This morning we will be touring the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, American's most visited National Park. Our local guide will take us to the top of the mountains and back with an array of history, stories, and legend about the area and the people that inhabited it before the park was formed.  Along the way you will see spectacular scenery and maybe even some wildlife! This evening, enjoy the Dinner Theatre at the Dixie Stampede (included).  Filled with thrilling horse riding stunts, spectacular special effects, phenomenal musical productions and a mouth-watering four-course feast complete with a delicious dessert!  (CB, D)

Day 5: Pigeon Forge, TN to Nashville, TN

This morning we will be travelling to Nashville, TN - hailed by Travel & Leisure magazine as one of the "friendliest cities in the United States" and known affectionately as "Music City USA". We will stop for lunch after arriving in Nashville, TN.  After lunch, a local guide will provide us with a tour of the many landmarks located in Nashville. After the tour we will check into our host  hotel for our two night stay in Music City. Tonight you are free to explore Nashville! You can catch a show on your own, stroll the grounds of the Gaylord Opryland resort, and enjoy dinner out on the town. (CB)

Day 6: Local Touring

This morning we will be visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum to learn where "Music City" got its nickname. As the world’s largest music museum, the Country Music Hall of Fame gives country music fans the ultimate experience, displaying everything from rhinestone costumes to tear-stained lyric sheets. Some will say that no trip to Nashville is complete without visiting the tried and true honky-tonk saloons downtown along Broadway St.  We will drop you off there for the afternoon to explore restaurants and bars such as Legends Corner, The Stage and Cadillac Ranch, where admission is always free.  There are also lots of unique shops to check out along this popular street. This evening we will be going to see the show that made country music famous, The Grand Ole Opry.  For over 85 years, the country's best has mesmerized audiences at this unforgettable evening performance. Sit back and enjoy the live show, you never know who may show up on stage! (CB)

Day 7: Nashville, TN to Branson, MO

Today we check out of the hotel and travel to Branson, MO.  Enjoy the scenery as we pass through the Ozarc National Scenic Riverway. Arrive at your host hotel in Branson, MO.  After freshening up, join the group for dinner (included) and Clay Cooper's Country Music Express. This high-energy variety show will introduce you to some of Branson's finest characters with singing, dancing, comedy, and a six piece live band. (CB, D)

Day 8: Local Touring

Today is yours to explore Branson on your own. Book a river cruise, catch a matinee performance of one of Branson's stars, or shop your day away. This evening, meet in the lobby to depart for our Chuckwagon dinner theatre. Listen to authentic western music and comedy while enjoying a delicious all-you-can-eat meal. The show take you back in time, featuring old-time cowboy show tunes once sung by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. (CB, D)

Day 9: Branson, MO to Indianapolis, IN

Enjoy breakfast and meet with your Tour Director to check out of our hotel. Today we will be travelling to Indianapolis, IN. Today we will pass through St. Louis, MO. We will be stopping for lunch and to stretch your legs along the way. Arrive at our hotel in Indianapolis, IN.  You’re free for the evening to explore the area and have dinner at local restaurant. Day 10: Indianapolis, IN to Lancaster, PA

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and are on the road again. We will be stopping for lunch and time to stretch your legs. We will be passing through Columbus, OH before entering Pennsylvania. We arrive in Lancaster, PA for our two night stay. You’re free to have dinner on your own tonight and relax in the hotel. (CB)

Day 11: Local Touring

We will start our day with the Amish Experience's Quest for Freedom Tour. This unique tour combines the Civil War’s Underground Railroad and local Amish culture, all into one moving and memorable experience. We also visit an authentic Amish Country Homestead and Schoolhouse. After the tour, we will have a lunch at Plain & Fancy Restaurant, (included). This afternoon, we will witness a performance of “Noah, the Musical” held at the Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre.  We will join the millions of people worldwide who have come to see this one of a kind, awe-inspiring show. Embark on a journey with Noah and his family as they uphold the call of God to build a boat in a land that has never seen rain. Then, watch as hundreds of animals enter and live inside the great ark that surrounds the audience on three sides of a 300-foot-stage. Forty-foot-tall sets, toe-tapping songs, professional actors and a message of hope make Noah a must see! Tonight we get to experience the local flavour at the new Bird-in-Hand Family Restaurant & Smorgasbord (included). Remainder of the evening is free to explore the area. (CB, L, D)

Day 12: Lancaster, PA to Portsmouth, NH

After breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and travel to Portsmouth, NH. We will be stopping for lunch and to stretch your legs. We will be passing through New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts along the way. We arrive in Portsmouth, NH for the night. You’re free to have dinner on your own and shop at the nearby Fox Run Mall. (CB)

Day 13: Portsmouth, NH to Maritimes

Enjoy breakfast and check out of your hotel. Meet with your Tour Director and get ready for the final journey home. Arrive home and say goodbye to your Driver and Tour Director with many fond memories of your Nashville & Branson Spring Tour 2013. (CB)

A non-refundable $300 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due on February 20, 2013

Cancellation Terms

In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:

-Between February 20, 2013 to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.

Cancellation Insurance is available and strongly recommended.

Itinerary Variations

If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries/accommodations and substitute the best alternative available.
