Travel to Maine and New Hampshire for an action packed tour aimed at rug hookers including visits to such specialty stores as Dorr Mills, W. Cushing & Co, and Searsport Rugs. Also attend a rug hooking workshop and enjoy shopping at the outlet malls in Kittery and Freeport, as well as North Conway's Settlers' Green.

Depart Charlottetown for Portsmouth with pick-ups en route. Check into your hotel for a two-night stay and enjoy a welcome reception.
Depart for Guild, NH and visit Dorr Mills Store. This afternoon, we will have shopping time at the Kittery Outlet Mall in Maine before returning to the hotel. You're free for the evening to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or shop tax free at the Fox Run Mall. (B)
On the way to Portland we will travel to Kennebunkport to visit Crow Hill Primitives and W. Cushing & Co. This afternoon, we will visit Hooked Treasures-Brubaker, Halycon Yarns and Primitive Pastimes. This evening, we will visit the Freeport Outlet Mall including LL Bean (B)
Today we will travel to "Kick the Moon Studio" in Baldwin, ME for a Van Gogh rug hooking class by Janet Conner Hooked Rugs.
In this class, we will learn more about this innovative painter, while interpreting his lively colors and rhythmic brush strokes into our medium of rug hooking. Janet Conner will present a simple system of color and texture planning which allows hookers to recreate images inspired by Vincent's beautiful art, while still maintaining our individual style. A Van Gogh Sampler Kit is included but please bring your own favorite hook! Lunch will be served after in workshop.
Before returning to Portland, we will have tax-free shopping time at Settlers' Green Outlet Village in North Conway, NH. (B, L)
Today we load the coach and head for home. We will stop at Searsport Rugs in Verona Island, ME and at the duty free store before crossing the border back into Canada. Arrive back in Charlottetown around 11:00 pm with many happy memories of your Rug Hooker's Shopping Tour of New England. (B)

Payment
A non-refundable $200 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due on August 31, 2012.
Cancellation Terms
In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:
-Between April 12, 2012 to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.
Cancellation Insurance is available and strongly recommended.
Itinerary Variations
If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries/accommodations and substitute the best alternative available.
