Day 1: Arrive Halifax
Arrive in Halifax and check into your accommodations which are ideally located in the downtown core of this vibrant and urban centre on the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 2: Halifax & Peggy's Cove Touring*
Enjoy guided tours of both Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. An informative and fun filled ride through the city streets will immerse you in the history and culture of Halifax. You'll have time for a quick bite to eat on the waterfront before heading out to see and hear the crashing waves of Peggy's Cove. No trip to Nova Scotia is complete without a visit to this beautiful, rustic fishing village on the Atlantic Ocean. (CB)

Day 3: Halifax, NS to Baddeck, NS**
Depart Halifax on your included transfer to New Glasgow to meet your Tour Director and board the touring coach. Then proceed to Cape Breton Island - "the Scotland of North America." Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck to marvel at the many accomplishments of this genius. Spend two nights at a charming lakeside resort in the heart of Baddeck. (D)

Day 4: Cabot Trail Touring
We’re off to experience one of the most stunningly picturesque drives in North America.  The Cabot Trail winds around the rocky splendor of Cape Breton’s northern shore, ascending to the incredible plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park.  Look-offs offer unforgettable vistas of Cape Breton’s rugged coastline so be sure to have your camera on handOur day is complimented by a Whale Watching Boat Tour (weather permitting). Day 5: Baddeck, NS to Halifax, NS
The Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site awaits us today. Words cannot do justice to this reconstruction depicting one fifth of the settlement of 1744 New France. Roam the streets and chat with authentically costumed guides. Proceed along the shore of the Bras d’Or Lake to the mainland, and back to Halifax for one last night in the Maritimes. (B)
