Day 1: Halifax, NS - Bangor, ME

Depart Halifax for Bangor with pickups en route. Check in to the Hollywood Slots Hotel & Raceway for the night. Experience the excitement of over 1,000 slot, video poker and video roulette machines.

Day 2: Bangor, ME - Burlington, VT

Travel from Bangor to Burlington and check in to your hotel for a three night stay. (B)

Day 3: Burlington

Expand your quilting knowledge over the next three days at the Vermont Quilt Festival in Essex Juncton, a short drive from Burlington. (B)

Day 4: Burlington

This morning visit the Shelburne Museum which features a collection of over 400 18th and 19th century American quilts in addition to a wide array of impressionist paintings, folk art, decorative arts, and furniture. Spend the afternoon at the Quilt Festival before enjoying a leisurely dinner cruise on Lake Champlain aboard Spirit of Ethan Allen III. Discover the regionĀ“s rich history as the CaptainĀ“s narration unfolds tales of Indian lore, the Revolutionary War, and Ethan Allen himself. (B, D)

Day 5: Burlington, VT - North Conway, NH

Travel from Burlington to North Conway where you will check in for another three night stay. Your hotel is located at Settlers' Green Outlet Village. En route, stop at America's Favorite Quilt Shop, Keepsake Quilting in Center Harbor. (B)

Day 6: North Conway

Today visit the Castle in the Clouds, a 16-room mansion and 5,500 acre mountaintop estate in Moultonborough overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee and the Ossipee Mountains. Also view the rugged beauty of the White Mountains from the top of Cannon Mountain. (B)

Day 7: North Conway

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may wish to take advantage of New Hampshire's tax free shopping; there are over 60 brand name factory outlet stores just steps from your hotel. (B)

Day 8: Norh Conway, NH - Bangor, ME

Travel from North Conway back to Bangor today. There will be a stop at Marden's so you can stock up on their quality material at low prices. (B)

Day 9: Bangor, ME - Halifax, NS

You are homeward bound today as you make your way back to the Maritimes with fond memories of New England. (CB)

Payment

A non-refundable $200 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to departure.

Cancellation Terms

In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:

- Between 45 and 31 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price will be retained.

- Between 30 days to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.

Cancellation Insurance is available and strongly recommended.

If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to vary itineraries/accommodations and substitute the best alternative available.
