Day 2:

Day 3:

Day 4:

Day 5:

Depart for Siena through the hills of Chianti. In Siena, view Piazza del Campo and their Medieval towers and walls. Next visit San Gimignano, a charming Medieval hilltop town noted for its towers and views. Hotel dinner. Columbia, Montecatini (BB,D)

Day 6:

Depart for Rome, with a stop in Assisi to view St. Francis' Cathedral. Arriving in Rome, check in and hotel dinner. Hotel Tiberio or similar, Rome (BB,D)

Day 7:

Morning tour featuring the most famous monuments and sites of Ancient Rome, and an afternoon tour of Modern Rome. We will see the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and more! Dinner at our hotel. Tiberio, Rome (BB,D)

Day 8:

Day 9:

Following breakfast, depart for Sorrento. Stop for a tour of Pompeii's well-preserved ruins from Roman times. Next we tour of the port city of Naples. Arriving in Sorrento, check in for dinner and overnight. Hotel Michelangelo or similar, Sorrento (BB,D)

Day 10:

Tour one of the world's most scenic roads -The Amalfi Drive! Our first stop will be above the famous resort of Positano. Day 11:

Ferry to the beautiful Isle of Capri! Capri is very chic with shops, hotels, and restaurants along winding streets. The main square has a pretty white church and open-air cafes. Return to Sorrento for dinner. Michelangelo, Sorrento (BB,D)

After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Naples Airport for our return flight to Boston/NY (intermediate stop). (BB)
