Day 1: Arrive in Halifax, NS
Arrive in Halifax and check in to your accommodations. Your hotel is ideally located in the downtown core of this vibrant and cosmopolitan urban center on the Atlantic Ocean. You may wish to add additional nights in Halifax to your vacation package. Bursting with rich history and culture, Nova Scotia's capital city has much to offer.
Day 2: Halifax at Leisure
Today is yours to enjoy Halifax at your leisure. Admission to Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, steps from your hotel, is included. (Continental Breakfast)
Option: You may wish to include to see Halifax by land and sea aboard the Harbour Hopper.
Day 3: Halifax to Cape Breton Island
Depart Halifax and proceed to Cape Breton Island - "the Scotland of North America." Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck to marvel at the many accomplishments of this genius. Spend the next two nights on the Island. (Continental Breakfast)
Day 4: Cabot Trail Touring
You're off to experience one of the most stunningly picturesque drives in North America. The Cabot Trail winds around the rocky splendor of Cape Breton's northern shore, ascending to the incredible plateaus of Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Look-offs offer unforgettable vistas of Cape Breton's rugged coastline so be sure to have your camera on hand. (Breakfast)

Day 5: Cape Breton Island to Halifax
The Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site awaits you. This reconstruction recreates one-fifth of the town of 1744 - words will not do justice to the scope of this tribute to New France. Roam the streets talking with some of the costumed guides who remain in character, or sample the sustenance of the era. Proceed along the shores of Bras d'Or to the mainland, and back to Halifax. (Breakfast)
Day 6: Halifax At Leisure
Enjoy one last full day to enjoy Halifax. (Continental Breakfast)
Option: You may wish to visit the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic or Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21
Day 7: Depart Halifax
