Depart for England & Wales
A non-stop, trans-Atlantic flight takes you to London, the capital of England and the most visited city in the world. Upon arrival, meet your local tour guide and driver and transfer to your hotel, located in the fashionable Kensington area. Settle in for a three-night stay

Tour London & Windsor Castle
Not far from London is the town of Windsor. While there, visit Windsor Castle, an official residence of His Majesty the King, and the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. In the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic city tour of London. Discover the city’s iconic landmarks, architectural and cultural diversity, and fascinating history. Your tour will take you on a non-stop precession of recognizable landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and much more. DAY 4: April 16, 2025
London to Bath
No tour to England is complete without visiting the mysterious Stonehenge, one of the world’s most famous pre-historic sites. Dating back to approximately 3000 BCE, this circle of stones continues to fascinate people the world over. Afterwards, journey to the charming Cotswolds village of Castle Combe. Discover first-hand why it is often rated the “prettiest village in England”. Continue to delightful Bath where you will spend the next two nights. (Breakfast)
DAY 5: April 17, 2025
Touring the Roman Baths & a Walking Tour of Bath
Begin your day with a visit to the Roman Baths. Built around 70 CE as a grand bathing and socializing complex, the site transport visitors back to Roman times through its extensive ruins and interactive museum. After, enjoy a walking tour of the city. The delightful city centre of Bath is packed with eye-catching highlights, such as the honey-coloured stone of the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey with its gothic interior and the ancient Roman Baths. Bath is also synonymous with the 18th century novelist Jane Austen whose life and works are immortalised in the Jane Austen Centre. Spend the balance of the day at leisure. (Breakfast)

Bath to Cardiff
Today starts the Welsh portion of your journey as you travel to the capital of Wales: Cardiff. Upon arrival discover the city’s past, present, and future during a walking tour. See Llandaff Cathedral, Bute Park, the River Taff and the rejuvenated Cardiff Bay area. In the heart of the city is Cardiff Castle, a medieval castle with a rich history spanning over 2000 years. The city is your home for the next two nights. This evening, enjoy Welsh music, culture and poetry accompanied by delicious food and drink with the Spirit of Wales show. (Breakfast, Dinner)

The Royal Mint
Near Cardiff is The Royal Mint. Learn about the detailed process involved in producing coins and the history of the United Kingdom’s coinage. See some of the most unique and rate coins in British history on display. After your visit, return to Cardiff for time to explore on your own. (Breakfast)
DAY 8: April 20, 2025
Cardiff to Bodelwynddan
Today’s travels take you through Northern Wales. Drive through Snowdonia National Park, with its breathtaking peaks and spectacular lakes. The park is home to Wales’ highest peak and Wales’ largest national lake. Continue to the village of Bodelwyddan where you will spend two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 9: April 21, 2025
Snowdonia Mountain Railway and Caernarfon
Today, take a once in a lifetime adventure on the Snowdonia Mountain Railway, described as one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. As the train travels up the mountain, you’ll experience awe-inspiring scenery, see beautiful waterfalls and gorges, and marvel at the remnants of medieval settlements. As there may be ice and/or snow on Snowdonia during early spring, the train stops three-quarters of the way at Clogwyn Station. But fear not: the views are still impressive! Afterwards, make a stop in Bangor, one of the oldest cities in Wales, for some free time to explore. Visit imposing Caernarfon Castle, one of the best-preserved examples of medieval military architecture in the United Kingdom and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The castle was also the site of the investiture in 1969 of the Prince of Wales, now King Charles III. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 10: April 22, 2025
Caernarfon to Liverpool
Say “ffarwel” to Wales as you return to England today. In the walled, medieval city of Chester, enjoy a walking tour. See the beautiful sandstone city walls, the ruins of a Roman amphitheater and Chester Cathedral. Tudor England is also brought back to life in the tightly packed streets full of distinctive black and white half gabled houses. Your journey continues to Liverpool, your home for the night. No trip to that city is complete without visiting The Beatles Story, the world’s largest permanent exhibition devoted to the life and times of the band that changed the world of music forever. DAY 11: April 23, 2025
Liverpool to York
Fans of the hit series Bridgerton are in for a treat: a visit to Castle Howard! You may recognize it as the Duke of Hastings’ home Clyvedon Castle. Since the 1960s, the estate has been used as a location for many film and television productions. Tour the stately home’s rooms, gardens and grounds during your time there. Afterwards, continue to the city of York for a two-night stay. Since its establishment as a city by the Romans in 71 CE, York has played a pivotal role in the history of England and showcases well-preserved remains that bring this history to life. During a walking tour, stroll along the medieval city walls, visit the ruined 11th century St. Mary’s Abbey and marvel at the exterior of York Minster Cathedral. Also, walk through the city centre’s maze of half-timbered houses that also almost touch across the narrow lanes like The Shambles and Whip-ma-Whop-ma-Gate. (Breakfast)

Free Day to Explore York & A Ghost Tour
Spend the day at leisure in York. Your tour guide will be available to make suggestions of what to see and do. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a York Ghost Tour. The walk explores a world of folklore, legend and dreams in one of the most haunted cities in the world. Tales are drawn from the immense history of York and are told against a backdrop of haunting beauty. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 13: April 25, 2025
York to Leicester
Your journey southward takes you to Chatsworth House in the Derbyshire Dales. Located in the middle of expansive parkland and backed by wooded, rocky hills rising to heather moorland, Chatsworth House has been described as a “second Versailles”. The house contains major collections of paintings, furniture, Old Master drawings, neoclassical sculptures, books and other artefacts. There is also a 105-acre garden and farmyard to explore. Chatsworth has been chosen as Britain's favourite country house several times. It, too, has been a filming location for such productions as Pride and Prejudice, The Crown and Peaky Blinders. Continue to Leicester, the largest city in the East Midlands, where you will spend the night. (Breakfast)
DAY 14: April 26, 2025
Leicester to Windsor
No tour of England is complete without visiting Shakespeare’s Birthplace – the Bard’s childhood home in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. Learn about William Shakespeare’s family life and the legacy his plays and sonnets continue to have in the 21st century. Return to Windsor for the last night of the tour. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Homeward Bound!

Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour.
While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to:
- Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own.
- Enter and exit tour boats on your own
- Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails.
- Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines.
- Walk on uneven surfaces.
- Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace.
- Walk and stand for up to 2 hours.
- Manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available.
