Terms and Conditions

1. Booking and Payment Policies

Deposits and Final Payments Unless Otherwise Specified

  • Multi-day Tours: A per person non-refundable deposit starting at $200 is required at the time of booking.
  • Self-Drives: A $100 per person non-refundable deposit is required for custom Self-Drive itineraries to be developed.
    • A Non-Refundable Deposit of $200 per person is required at time of confirmation
  • Rail, Air, or Cruise Components: A non-refundable deposit starting at $500 per person is required at the time of booking.
  • Airfare Included in Vacation Packages: Full payment for airfare is non-refundable upon booking.
  • Final Payment: Due 60 days prior to the tour departure date.

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 61 Days Before Departure: Deposits are non-refundable.
  • 60 Days or Less Before Departure: 100% of the tour cost is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation fees also apply to pre- or post-tour accommodations and optional add-ons.

Note: If your package includes different payment or cancellation terms, they will be communicated at the time of booking and listed on your invoice.

2. Revision Fees

  • Standard Changes: Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to a $50 administration fee per change.
  • Please Note: While we do our best to accommodate, some changes may not be permissible.
  • Rail or Air-related Changes: Higher fees may apply, and some changes may not be permitted once air/rail is confirmed.
  • Date or Tour Changes: Changing the departure date or switching to another tour incurs full applicable cancellation charges as outlined above.

3. General Information

Credit Card Payments

  • By providing your credit card details for a reservation, you agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions and authorize the payment.
  • Payments processed via credit card are subject to currency fluctuations and may differ slightly from the brochure price. You may provide a cheque as payment instead.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept payment in the form of Debit or Debit Visas or Debit Mastercards.

Travel Protection

  • Atlantic Tours strongly recommends purchasing trip cancellation/interruption insurance and emergency medical coverage. Insurance should be purchased within 72 hours of booking and initial payment and is non-refundable.
  • By declining insurance, you agree not to hold Atlantic Tours responsible for any costs incurred due to trip cancellations or medical emergencies.

Itinerary Changes due to Unforeseen Circumstances

  • If unforeseen circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes, we reserve the right to substitute accommodations and tour inclusions with the best alternative available.

4. Mobility and Disability

  • All passengers must independently manage their mobility without relying on the Tour Director or Coach Driver.
  • Passengers requiring assistance must travel with a capable companion.
  • Motorized wheelchairs and scooters are not permitted. Folding walkers and some folding wheelchairs may be allowed but must be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • Accessibility varies by tour and hotel; disability-friendly accommodations cannot be guaranteed.
  • Atlantic Tours reserves the right to remove any individual whose condition or behavior compromises the tour or detracts from the safety and enjoyment of others.

5. Documentation

  • Travel documents are typically sent via email. For bookings made within three weeks of departure, courier fees may apply if mailing is required.

6. Responsibility

Atlantic Tours Limited will not assume responsibility for:

  • Any claims, losses, damages, cost or expenses arising out of personal injury, accidents or death.
  • Loss, damage or delay of baggage or other property.
  • Delay, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointment, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, especially if such loss results from any of the following:
    • The act of omission of any party other than Atlantic Tours Limited or it's employees.
    • Your failure to follow instructions including but not limited to airport departure times, baggage handling, and check-in and check-out times.
    • Cancellation or change for any reason in the travel services offered.

We reserve the right to cancel or change the travel services at our discretion, but we will try to substitute comparable services.

  • If we must completely cancel your reservation, in any event, Atlantic Tours Limited's liability will be limited to a refund equal to the total original purchase price of the vacation package.
  • A full refund, however, will not be honored in situations where your reservation must be cancelled by Atlantic Tours Limited for reasons which are beyond its control and where Atlantic Tours Limited's contractual obligations with its suppliers does not allow it to obtain reimbursement of the sums paid to the on behalf of the customer.

Written notice or any claim against Atlantic Tours Limited must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after your trip.
