Maybe you’ve travelled with Atlantic Tours before on our much-loved Celtic Colours of Cape Breton tour and are ready for a new experience. Or perhaps you simply want to enjoy as many performances as possible during the Celtic Colours International Festival alongside a group of fellow Celtic music lovers. Either way, this is the tour for you!
Join Atlantic Tours for this new take on the Celtic Colours International Festival. This performance-focused experience includes five concerts at venues around Cape Breton, culminating with The Grand Finale.

Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart for Sydney, NS
After meeting your tour director and travelling companions, make your way through central Nova Scotia and across the Canso Causeway to Cape Breton Island and on to Sydney, Cape Breton’s largest community, for your three-night stay. Enjoy an evening performance at the Celtic Colours International Festival. (Dinner)
DAY 2: Celtic Colours International Festival
Join your tour director for a trip to the Cape Breton Miners Museum in Glace Bay. While there, take a virtual mine tour to learn about the daily routines and challenges faced by coal miners as well as an opportunity to check out the exhibits. Return to Sydney for lunch on your own before joining together for two concerts this day. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Please note: we have NOT included an underground tour due to the physical abilities required to enjoy this experience.
DAY 3: Celtic Colours International Festival
This morning, enjoy free time to explore Sydney on your own. Browse some of the shops, stroll along the waterfront boardwalk or relax at your hotel. Later today, enjoy an afternoon performance. This evening, attend the Grand Finale concert. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 4: Homeward Bound
Depart Sydney this morning as you start your way back to the mainland. Stop in Stellarton to visit the Museum of Industry to discover the people, places and machines of Nova Scotia’s industrial past. Afterwards, return home with fond memories of your Celtic Colours Encore experience. (Breakfast)

Mobility Requirements
Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour.
While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to:
- Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own.
- Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails.
- Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines.
- Walk on uneven surfaces.
- Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace.
- Walk and stand for up to 2 hours.
- Manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available.

Individual Cancellation Terms
Up to and including August 13, 2026: deposit non-refundable
Between August 14, 2026, date of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price is non-refundable
