Tour Coordinator/Planner

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for coordinating group tour inquiries for Atlantic Canada and surrounding areas (Eastern US seaboard and & Central Canada)
  • You will determine clients’ specifications and suggest and coordinate suitable group travel services
    • Develop itineraries
    • Prepare costings and provide quotes
    • Develop and provide contracts
    • Book motor coach, hotels and ferries
    • Collect deposits and final payment
    • Follow up with clients on a regular basis
  • Represent Atlantic Tours & Travel at trade shows if required

You will have the following skills:

  • Tourism & Travel background/experience
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
  • Motivation and ability to work independently as well as a strong team player
  • Positive “can do” attitude
  • Professional manner and appearance
