DAY 1: Arrive Corner Brook
Check into your accommodations in Corner Brook where you will spend your first night in Newfoundland & Labrador.  

Note: If you are arriving late, you may wish to overnight in Deer Lake instead of Corner Brook and this may be requested on booking for no additional charge, subject to availability.

DAY 2: Corner Brook to Port au Choix
Travel to the fishing community of Port au Choix which juts slightly out into the Gulf of St. Lawrence on Newfoundland’s northwest coast; people have lived here for 5,500 years. (Breakfast)

DAY 3: Port au Choix to St. Anthony
Travel up the Viking Trail to L’Anse aux Meadows National Historic Site, the first cultural discovery in the world to receive recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Learn of the Vikings who walked here over a thousand years ago. Afterwards, check into your hotel for a two-night stay. (Breakfast)

DAY 4: St. Anthony Touring
Enjoy a morning whale watching boat tour (weather permitting) in St. Anthony before spending your afternoon exploring this vibrant town. Visit the Grenfell Properties to learn about Dr. Wilfred Grenfell, a medical missionary who dedicated his life to improving health, education, and living conditions in Labrador and Newfoundland, establishing hospitals, schools, and orphanages. (Breakfast)

Note: June and early July are the best time to see Titanic-size icebergs.

DAY 5: St. Anthony to Cow Head
Depart St. Anthony this morning, as you travel back down the coast to Cow Head in Gros Morne National Park for a two-night stay. (Breakfast)

DAY 6: Gros Morne Touring
Discover why Gros Morne National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is truly one of the highlights of your trip with a scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay; be on the look-out for the bald eagles that frequent the deep waters of the fjord and you will also see the Tablelands.  This mountain of flat-topped rock of a kind usually found only deep in the earth’s mantle is an awe-inspiring sight and it  prompted the UNESCO World Heritage designation of the area. Today will be an unforgettable experience; some say the scenery that Gros Morne offers is unequaled in Eastern Canada. (Breakfast)

Option: Clients may request on booking to take a scenic boat tour on Western Brook Pond in lieu of the scenic boat tour on Bonne Bay.  While some may consider the boat tour on Western Brook Pond to be a superior outing, please note that there is a 45-minute walk (3 km/2 miles) from the parking lot to the dock and a 45-minute walk back.  This option must be requested on booking.

DAY 7: Depart Deer Lake
Arrangements end upon check-out from your hotel. (Breakfast)
