Around Iceland on the Windstar Cruise's Star Pride (11 days)
Iceland is a magical place! Venture to untouched regions where natural beauty reigns supreme, peppered with steamy hot springs, spectacular waterfalls, and brooding volcanoes. Early sunrises and late sunsets, along with moderate temperatures, make this an ideal time to visit.
Carrying just 312 guests, WindStar’s Star Pride has a casual and intimate approach to cruising, all while providing excellent service and amenities. This all-suite yacht features ocean-view accommodations starting at a spacious 277 square feet. Within a day or two, the warm and welcoming crew will know your name. You’ll soon discover why Windstar Cruises is indeed 180° from Ordinary!
Go beyond the tourist hotspots on this week-long circumnavigation of the Land of Fire and Ice. WindStar takes you to places most cruise ships can’t go: to narrow fjords, islands where puffins outnumber people, and deep into an interior filled with waterfalls, geysers, ice caverns, volcanoes, and alfhol (elf houses). There are shore excursions for every activity level and interest: you may have difficulty choosing! And, the small group size lends itself to more authentic and unique experiences.
Before your cruise, spend two nights in Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital city. As the world’s most northerly capital, it is a lively, modern city filled with history and culture, world-class cuisine and nearby natural wonders.
This tour is fully escorted from Halifax, making it a truly worry-free escape! We’ll be with you every step of the way.
