DAY 1: September 30, 2026
Halifax NS to Miramichi NB
Your adventure begins! Meet your Atlantic Tours tour director and driver upon boarding your motorcoach in Halifax, or a point along the way. Travel through Nova Scotia and northward to Miramichi, your home for the night. Alongside the Miramichi River in the heart of the city’s historic Water Street business district, your hotel is the perfect location for exploration. This evening, join your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner. (Dinner)
DAY 2: October 1, 2026
Miramichi NB to Matane QC
Begin your day with a visit to Battle of the Restigouche National Historic Site. It was here the last naval battle occurred between France and Great Britain in 1760 as they fought for possession of North America. Continue through the Matapédia Valley to Reford Gardens/Jardins de Métis, a colourful oasis along the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Stroll the garden’s more than 200 acres, featuring native and exotic plants displayed in fifteen gardens. Tonight, stay in the seaside town of Matane. (Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 3: October 2, 2026
Matane QC to Percé QC
The journey between Matane and Percé offers truly magnificent sea and mountain scenery. It may even rival our own world-famous Cabot Trail! Enjoy a day of sightseeing as you travel along the shores of the St-Lawrence River as it widens into the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Stop in Forillon National Park, renowned for its dramatic cliffs, lush forests, and diverse wildlife. Spend the next two nights in the charming village of Percé. Explore its colourful streets lined with boutiques, artist studios, restaurants, and cafés. (Breakfast, Box Lunch)
DAY 4: October 3, 2026
Percé Rock, Bonaventure Island & Leisure Time
Today, take a boat tour around one of Quebec’s most iconic natural wonders: Percé Rock. Marvel how its massive limestone cliffs reach majestically out of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Also, see Bonaventure Island, home to more than 280,000 birds and the world’s largest gannet colony. Enjoy additional time for exploration of Percé at your own pace. (Breakfast)
DAY 5: October 4, 2026
Percé QC to Bathurst NB
Your journey continues along the Bay of Chaleur to Paspébiac National Historic Site. During your visit to the site’s eleven period buildings, discover its key role in the exporting of dried cod during the 19th century to Europe, the Caribbean and Brazil. Return to New Brunswick and on to the city of Bathurst for the last night of your tour. (Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 6: October 5, 2026
Bathurst NB to Halifax NS
In Shediac – often said to be the lobster capital of the world - learn about the mysterious world of lobsters and the area’s marine ecosystem during a visit to the Homarus Centre. Your journey continues homeward through Nova Scotia, having made wonderful memories during your Gaspé Fall Getaway! (Breakfast)

Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour.
While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to:
- Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own.
- Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails.
- Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines.
- Walk on uneven surfaces.
- Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace.
- Walk and stand for up to 2 hours.
- Manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available.
