DAY 1: Monday, June 8, 2026
Halifax NS to Charlottetown PE
Board your comfortable motorcoach in Halifax, or a point along the way, as you cross Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island. Travel to the charming city of Charlottetown for the first night of the tour. Before checking into your downtown hotel, learn more about the province’s capital during a walking tour. This evening is free to explore on your own.
DAY 2: Tuesday, June 9, 2026
Charlottetown PE to Cap-aux- Meules QC
From Charlottetown, your adventure continues eastward across Canada’s smallest province to Souris. There, board the ferry to the Magdalen Islands. Stroll the decks, enjoy a snack or meal, have a drink in the pub or relax in one of the lounges during the 5-hour journey. Arrive in Cap-aux-Meules where you will spend the next three nights, the perfect location for exploration! (Breakfast)
DAY 3: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Magdalen Islands Touring
Discover numerous natural and historical treasures all over the archipelago during a locally guided tour. Hear about the lives of the Madelinot of yesteryear and today. See the beautiful beach of Dune du Sud, where the island’s famous red cliffs jut out into the sea. Learn more about the history and geography of the Magdalen Islands during an informative Cliffs and Caves boat tour (weather permitting). You may even see a bird or two! (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
DAY 4: Thursday, June 11, 2026
Magdalen Islands Touring
Visit the Museum of the Sea which highlights all aspects of the cultural life of the Madelinot. Stop at La Grave Historical Site - where the Magdalen’s fishing industry began – which retains its distinctive architectural and traditional character. Also, enjoy a tasting at Le Barbocheux to learn about the “beer of the islands”. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 5: Friday, June 12, 2026
Cap-aux-Meules QC to Halifax NS
An early morning departure takes you back to Prince Edward Island. Recross Confederation Bridge as you travel through New Brunswick and on to Nova Scotia, taking with you fond memories of your time in the Magical Magdalen Islands. (Breakfast)
