Halifax NS to Edmundston NB
Your adventure begins! Meet your Atlantic Tours tour director and driver when you board your comfortable motorcoach in Halifax, or a point along the way, as you travel to Edmundston for the night. Tonight, become further acquainted with your fellow travellers during a welcome dinner. (Dinner)
DAY 2: May 16, 2026
Edmundston NB to Ottawa ON
Today’s journey takes you along the shores of the St. Lawrence River and through the province of Quebec to Ontario. Spend three nights in the heart of Ottawa at the elegant and historic Lord Elgin Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located a stone’s throw away from the Rideau Canal, Confederation Park, Parliament Hill and dozens of shops and restaurants. (Breakfast)
DAY 3: May 17, 2026
Explore Ottawa
This morning, enjoy a tour by motorcoach of our nation’s capital. The tour showcases Ottawa’s important landmarks as you learn about its past and present. The afternoon and evening are free to explore at your leisure. Perhaps take a stroll along the Rideau Canal or downtown Ottawa to catch some amazingly colourful sights! Or, take in one of our nation’s capital’s wonderful museums and art galleries. Your tour director is available to make suggestions. (Breakfast)
DAY 4: May 18, 2026
Canadian Tulip Festival
Spend part of today exploring Commissioners Park, the site of the Canadian Tulip Festival. With over 100 varieties of bulbs, Commissioners Park is a showstopper and the region’s major tulip display site. While there, enjoy a walking tour to learn about the history and horticulture of this special event. There will be time to explore on your own. Later, see Ottawa from a different perspective on a boat tour on the Rideau Canal. (Breakfast)
DAY 5: May 19, 2026
Ottawa ON to Quebec City QC
Say farewell to Ottawa as you return to Quebec to the charming and historic Quebec City for a two-night stay. Your hotel is a stone’s throw from Old Quebec and is the perfect location for exploring the history and culture of this wonderful place. Have a delicious maple themed dinner and tasting at a Quebec sugar shack this evening. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 6: May 20, 2026
Explore Quebec City
Enjoy a tour of the city by motorcoach of Quebec’s capital city. Let yourself be charmed by Old Quebec, the only walled city north of Mexico, as you learn about the area’s past and present. The remainder of the day is free to do as you wish! Your tour director is available to make suggestions to help you make the most of your time in Quebec City. (Breakfast)
DAY 7: May 21, 2026
Quebec City QC to Halifax NS
Your amazing tour comes to an end today as you return to Halifax, having created wonderful memories to last a lifetime! (Breakfast)

Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour.
While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to:
- Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own.
- Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails.
- Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines.
- Walk on uneven surfaces.
- Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace.
- Walk and stand for up to 2 hours.
- Manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available.
