Halifax NS to Bangor ME
Your adventure begins! Meet your Atlantic Tours tour director and driver when you board your comfortable motorcoach in Halifax, or a point along the way, as you travel to Bangor for the night. Tonight, become further acquainted with your fellow travellers during a welcome dinner. (Dinner)
DAY 2: September 30, 2025
Bangor ME to Albany NY
The next leg of your journey takes you through Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts before crossing the border to the state of New York. Stop at your first waterfalls of the trip: Cohoes Falls. Continue to New York’s capital city – Albany – for the night. (Breakfast)
DAY 3: October 1, 2025
Albany NY to Ithaca NY
Today’s journey takes you from Albany to the city of Ithaca by way of Syracuse. Celebrating its bicentennial in 2025, learn about the economic and cultural impact of the Erie Canal. Stop at Ithaca Falls, close to the city’s downtown. With a drop of 150ft and width of 175ft, it is one of the area’s most powerful and impressive. Afterwards, check in to your Ithaca hotel for a two-night stay. This evening, enjoy dinner with wine pairing at a local restaurant. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 4: October 2, 2025
Touring in the Finger Lakes Region
Today is a double waterfalls day! Stop for a photo at Taughannock Falls. At 215ft, it is three stories taller than Niagara Falls. See Buttermilk Falls where the water descends in a series of plunging cascades into a beautiful basin. Tour the extensive gardens and arboretum of the Cornell Botanic Gardens. Enjoy time at The Commons in downtown Ithaca, a four-block pedestrian shopping area featuring more than 100 independently owned shops, restaurants and art galleries. The Finger Lakes area is known not just for waterfalls but for wineries too. Enjoy a tasting at a local winery and discover a new favourite! (Breakfast)
DAY 5: October 3, 2025
Ithaca NY to Rochester NY
Have a little fun today at The Strong, the only museum in the world dedicated to play. While there, visit the National Toy Hall of Fame and enjoy the many other interactive exhibits and experiences. There’s sure to be something you remember fondly from your childhood! Afterwards, learn about the life and times of Kodak’s founder and visit the world’s oldest photography museum at the George Eastman Museum. See High Falls, the impressive 96ft waterfall in the heart of downtown Rochester. Overnight in Rochester. (Breakfast)
DAY 6: October 4, 2025
Rochester NY to Jamestown NY
Today is full of laughter and nostalgia as you travel to Jamestown, Lucille Ball’s hometown! Visit the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum which celebrates the lives, career and legacy of the “First Couple of Comedy”. The day is capped off with a stop at the National Comedy Center. With over 50 interactive exhibits, this museum celebrates comedy history and features exclusive collections from such legends as Carl Reiner, George Carlin and Betty White. Spend the night in the Jamestown area. (Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 7: October 5, 2025
Jamestown NY to Niagara Falls ON
World-famous Niagara Falls awaits! Start your day with a stop at Niagara Falls State Park for panoramic views of the American, Bridal Veil and Horseshoe Falls. After crossing the border back to Canada, you will be in awe of the majestic beauty that is Horseshoe Falls, sometimes called the Canadian Falls. Enjoy a two-night stay in Niagara Falls. DAY 8: October 6, 2025
Touring in the Niagara Region
A local guide will tell you stories about the fascinating history, geography and people of the Niagara Region. Discover firsthand why Winston Churchill called the journey along the Niagara Parkway “the most beautiful Sunday drive in the world”. Enjoy free time in picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake and see for yourself why it is often called the “prettiest town in Canada”. Return to Niagara Falls where the remainder of the day is at leisure. DAY 9: October 7, 2025
Niagara Falls ON to Kingston ON
Travel eastwards today to the oldest city in Ontario: Kingston. During a boat cruise, learn about the unique sights and heritage of the 1000 Islands region, with a focus on Kingston’s historic waterfront. The cruise passes close to Fort Henry, the Royal Military College and the infamous and imposing Kingston Penitentiary. Overnight in Kingston. (Breakfast)
DAY 10: October 8, 2025
Kingston ON to Quebec City QC
Today’s journey takes you through Ontario and into the province of Quebec, along the shores of the St. Lawrence River. Stop at Chaudière Falls in Lévis. Admire these 115ft high waterfalls from a suspended bridge located above the river. Continue to Quebec City where you will spend the last two nights of your tour. (Breakfast)
DAY 11: October 9, 2025
Quebec City & Montmorency Falls
This morning, a local guide takes you on a tour of Quebec City. Learn about the city’s fascinating history and see many of its famous sites such as the Plains of Abraham, the Chateau Frontenac, Place Royale and much more, all from the comfort of your motorcoach. At one and a half times the height of Niagara Falls, Montmorency Falls is a spectacular site year-round. Take a cable car to the top, offering beautiful views of the Falls, the St. Lawrence River, Ile d’Orléans and Quebec City. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch before returning to Quebec City for time to explore on your own. (Breakfast, Lunch)
DAY 12: October 10, 2025
Quebec City QC to Halifax NS
Your amazing waterfalls adventure comes to an end today as you return to Halifax, having created fond memories during this unique tour. (Breakfast)

Mobility Requirements
Travelling with Atlantic Tours requires a certain level of activity and physical fitness to enjoy and take part in the tour.
While the specific requirements for each tour vary, in general, you must be able to:
- Enter and exit the motorcoach on your own.
- Enter and exit tour boats on your own
- Climb stairs with ease and at times without handrails.
- Walk up and down moderate to steep inclines.
- Walk on uneven surfaces.
- Walk distances of at least 1km at a reasonable pace.
- Walk and stand for up to 2 hours.
- Manage your own luggage if luggage handling is not available.
