Also, this weekend, Charlottetown usually holds both their Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade, events you won’t want to miss! All of these activities are just a short walk away from your hotel, the historic Rodd Charlottetown, located in the heart of downtown. Let’s not forget the Hot Chocolate Trail, where Island vendors feature specialty hot chocolate, all while you have a chance to pick up a Christmas gift or two. On the way back to Nova Scotia, stop in Moncton for some additional shopping time.

DAY 1: November 27, 2026
Depart for Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
After meeting your tour director and travelling companions, travel to New Brunswick, across Confederation Bridge and on to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island’s capital city. Stay two nights at the historic Rodd Charlottetown, the perfect location for exploring the city’s storybook holiday setting. Before settling in, enjoy a Yuletide Tales guided walking tour. Hear heartwarming tales of Christmas past, unusual yuletide traditions and stories that brought Islanders together. This evening, you may wish to begin your exploration of the Charlottetown Christmas Festival by attending the tree lighting and the various markets. Your tour director is available to make suggestions.
DAY 2: November 28, 2026
Hot Chocolate Trail & Charlottetown Christmas Festival
Begin you day with a stop at the PEI Holiday Atlantic Maker Market, featuring over 150 vendors from around Atlantic Canada. Later today, have some fun as you explore part of the Hot Chocolate Trail. Sip on a delicious hot beverage while you do some shopping. Return to Charlottetown where you can further experience the Charlottetown Christmas Festival, attend the parade, shop and dine at Founders’ Food Hall & Market, visit the art gallery at the Confederation Centre for the Arts and have a meal at one of the city’s fabulous restaurants. DAY 3: November 29, 2026
Homeward Bound!
Re-cross Confederation Bridge as you head to Moncton for some further shopping. Then, return to Nova Scotia, having had a fun filled festive getaway! (Breakfast)
